Why am I receiving the email ‘Sailserver Subscription Status’?

You’re getting this e-mail because a Sailserver is linked to your Sailserver account. The message is sent automatically about one month before your subscription expires – and then roughly once a month thereafter.

What if the subscription expires?
Your Sailserver will keep logging your trips, but they won’t be visible until the subscription is renewed. We naturally hope you’ll renew and continue to enjoy your logbook and anchor watch.

Don’t want more e-mails?
If you unlink your Sailserver, these reminders will stop. See below for how to do it.

Remember to unlink your Sailserver when you no longer own it

When you sell the boat or stop using your Sailserver, make sure to unlink it from your account. This frees the device so the new owner can attach it to their own account.

Unlinking does not affect your logbook – you can still see all the trips you made with the boat.

In the app:

  1. Go to Account → Boat → Edit boat
  2. Tap Unlink to remove your Sailserver

Tip: Let the new owner know there’s a Sailserver installed in the boat.
